Our Mission
As a participant in the mission of St. Angela Merici, the Angela Foundation for Ursuline Education is committed to providing resources in support of Ursuline education in all its forms.
While respecting the uniqueness of each of the Ursuline educational ministries in North America, the foundation seeks to promote the Ursuline Core Values through the establishment of endowment funds. It provides opportunities for Directors, Trustees, administrators, faculty, parents, students, alumnae/i and others who seek to enhance the preservation and development of the Ursuline charism and mission in Ursuline sponsored schools and educational settings.
The foundation challenges all to become critical thinkers and life-long learners, develop their potential and influence society today and tomorrow in a spirit of service.
Our Future
The Angela Foundation for Ursuline Education secures the future of Ursuline education by…
- establishing an endowment to ensure the legacy of Ursuline education
- soliciting funds from national resources for the benefit of Ursuline education in North America
- furthering spiritual development, service, and leadership opportunities for co-workers, students, and trustees in Ursuline sponsored schools
- enhancing the educational capabilities of Ursuline schools
As the Foundation’s endowment increases, it will also be able to offer small grants to any member school, especially for projects not easily funded through other means. For example:
Educational Conference scholarships as we “educate the educators” in our Ursuline tradition
Student Leadership Conference scholarships to those who need assistance in registration fees
