The Ursuline Education Network assists member schools to continue the Catholic, Christ-centered educational traditions originally established by founding congregations of Ursuline Sisters. The goal of UEN is to ensure the charism of St. Angela Merici, foundress of the Ursuline order, remains an integral part of the educational experience from preschool through college. Serving schools in North America and England, UEN emphasizes advancement of Ursuline spirit through substantive programs including student conferences, and retreats as well as professional development opportunities for adults. Schools who are members of UEN can take advantage of integrative curriculums, such as The Global Scholars Program, designed to elevate global competencies, or the Student Leadership Program, which emphasizes application of St. Angela’s governance strategies to grow servant-leadership skills. Additionally, schools can choose to participate in the Ursuline Education Network Identity Assessment, a resource intended to preserve and refine Ursuline Core Values as the mission cornerstone of every member institution. With collegiality between congregations of Sisters, administrators, educators, and students, the Ursuline Education Network enhances the Ursuline spirituality of our schools.
